"From the moment we pulled up to the hotel the staff was warm and welcoming. The accommodations are high end with spotless well equipped rooms, a fireplace and water view. John the valet was very accommodating and always on time. We had brunch in the beautiful restaurant with the best waiter. He took care of all ten of us, and was attentive and pleasant at all times. We had the best time and would recommend Forty One North to anyone visiting Newport. "

"For our 25th anniversary we chose Newport, RI for a getaway. As first time visitors, we researched options and chose the Vanderbilt because it seemed central in location and the fact there were onsite spa services and good bar. This first choice was fortunate because we then met Morgan, the lead concierge. I booked the hotel and then immediately emailed re:spa services. Morgan called within 5 minutes of my email to book our appts and then proactively offered other services, ideas, and resources....

"only issue was the TV did not work. After getting new batteries for the remote I still couldn't find a signal. HDMI1 or 03 showed static. No connection could be made. Someone should have checked all the services I had paid for and see that they were in working order."

"Overall the stay was nice and it is a cute hotel with interesting decor. The building was clean and the ataff was great. The doors to many of the rooms however are warped creating considerable gaps at the top or bottom. I was able to remedy this to a degree by locking the door but the aforementioned warping made it difficult."
